This is the Call for Papers for the Tenth Annual International Gatherings in Biosemiotics, to be held from June 22 to June 27, 2010 at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Portuguese Catholic University in Braga, Portugal.
The Scientific Advisory Committee of the Tenth Annual Gatherings in Biosemiotics welcomes paper proposals from researchers in any academic discipline who are investigating the presence and the role of sign processes in living systems.
To submit a proposal, interested parties should e-mail an Abstract of between 300-600 words (absolutely no more)to abs2010@biosemiotics.org. Abstracts should be sent as separate single one-page files using standard word-processing formats (.doc or .rtf no PDF files please) and file-named: YOUR LAST NAME_ABSG10. The deadline for abstract submission is February 15, 2010. Earlier submission is highly encouraged.
The Tenth Annual Gathering in Biosemiotics is organized by Joćo Carlos Major and Alfredo de Oliveira Dinis in collaboration with the International Society for Biosemiotic Studies. All requests for information about the Gathering should be sent to Joćo Carlos Major at jcmajor@mail.telepac.pt
