Call for Papers

This is the final Call for Papers for the Seventh Annual International Gatherings in Biosemiotics, to be held on June 6-9, 2007 at the University of Groningen, Netherlands.

The Scientific Advisory Committee of the Seventh Annual Gatherings in Biosemiotics welcomes paper proposals from any academic discipline investigating the real-world use of sign processes among or within living organisms. Clarification about the kinds of papers that we are looking for is here.

To submit a proposal, interested parties should e-mail to the address below: (1) an abstract of between 250-500 words (absolutely no more); as well as (2) an extremely abbreviated CV, including your current professional / institutional affiliation and listing your most recent or relevant publications (maximum length: 1 page).

Proposals should be sent as single two-page word-processing attachments (.doc or .rtf only) to: Gatherings2007@biosemiotics.org

The final deadline for submissions is March 1, 2007.
